I've always been inspired by humanity's capacity to overcome adversity with resilience and strength, regardless of circumstances. This belief was deepened during graduate school, where I became engaged in research examining root causes and interventions aimed at mending relationships, supporting development, addressing marginalization, improving socialization, and understanding biochemistry. Through applying this research, I began my own journey of healing and growth—a path that continues to drive my work today. I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important anchor in therapy. My approach integrates relationship-based and cognitive-behavioral theories, providing a space that is transparent, compassionate, collaborative, and welcoming. I offer a non-judgmental, open-minded, person-centered environment where we can work together toward healing, deeper meaning, and your desired goals. My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that honors the complexities of lived experience. When assessing individuals, I actively acknowledge intersecting identities and unique personal histories to better understand diverse perspectives and support meaningful healing.
